Qi Gong
Qi Gong is the art and science of using breath, movement, and meditation to cleanse, strengthen, and circulate vital life energy. In Eastern medicine, the treatment for substance use disorders involves restoring the proper function of the internal organs. Special Qi Gong exercises are designed to restore the affected organs. They work to pump energy through blocked areas of the meridians associated with these organs.
Yoga
This 5,000 year-old science from the East views substance use disorders as symptoms of a larger cause. Practicing specific yogic poses and movements calms and balances the mind and body when integrating verified innovations from the West. This can help address many of the root causes of substance use disorder.
Meditation
Research studies have shown many mental and physical benefits from regular meditation. You will learn a simple method of advanced mindfulness meditation which is useful for improving health and avoiding relapse.
Brain Stimulation
The Fisher Wallace Stimulator is cleared by the FDA to treat depression, as well as anxiety and insomnia. The device works by stimulating the brain to produce seratonin and melatonin, while lowering cortisol.
Physical exercise
An elliptical machine, ab lounge,and a home gym all located in the house to encourage physical exercise.
